Coaching Services
As I have had many experiences throughout my life and career to prepare me to coach in various areas, I will list a few of my passions and where I would like to coach. If, after reading my bio on my home page, you would like me to coach in another area, please feel free to contact me. There is a belief that coaches only need to be experts in coaching and not in the areas they are coaching in. To expand on this, I believe that to be an effective coach (in addition to being an expert coach), I need some understanding—though not necessarily expertise—in the area I am coaching. My areas of interest in coaching are:
Workshops
I offer workshops in the following areas:
Leadership and Leadership styles
It is important for leaders to figure out their leadership styles and how these impact their day-to-day actions. No leadership style is 100% effective. Generally, leaders practice more than one leadership style, even if they have one primary leadership style they prefer.
Communication Skills
This workshop will help you become a better communicator. You will learn techniques such as paraphrasing, empathetic listening, non-verbal communication, and vocal communication.
Understanding Your Style of Conflict Management
This workshop focuses on recognizing how you manage conflict. This is important, as it can determine how people react or respond to you. No style is effective in every situation, but learning when to use or avoid certain approaches, such as being accommodating, can make you a better conflict manager.
Value Self
This workshop addresses the challenges of prioritizing your needs in today’s world, where we are often expected to meet others’ agendas before our own. This can lead to issues like depression, loss of self, and stress. Learn to differentiate between positive and negative stress, identify your negative stressors, and implement self-care techniques that work for you. Whether at home, in the workplace, or both, this workshop will help you become a happier, more productive person.
Consulting
I can consult on the above areas (when appropriate), as well as on other topics such as organizational leadership, behavior management plans for children and youth, and communication strategies. Please note that I customize workshops based on your needs.
Public Speaking
I enjoy public speaking and would be honored to speak at one of your events on a topic of your choice that aligns with my knowledge and experience.
